Equine First Aid

In the event of an injury or emergency, it is a good idea to have a first aid kit that includes:

  • Digital thermometer
  • Stethoscope
  • Injectable or oral Banamine
  • Oral Phenylbutazone
  • Triple antibiotic ophthalmic ointment (without steroid)
  • Bandage material: roll cotton or sheet cotton
  • Sterile 4 x 4's
  • Duct tape
  • Elastikon
  • Vet wrap
  • Dose Syringe
